Needleless lip filler has been popular in the beauty industry since 2017, and it has held its own in the world of lip augmentation, as well as when it comes to reducing the appearance of fine lines.
The needleless lip filler uses the same active ingredient as popular needle fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane: hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in the human body that is responsible for hydration. Unfortunately, as we grow older, both the natural production of hyaluronic acid and collagen fibers slows down, reducing our body’s ability to keep skin looking young and hydrated. Hyaluronic acid fillers promote collagen production, which causes rejuvenation within skin tissue, creating plumper, younger looking skin within the treatment area. Plus, as hyaluronic is a naturally occurring substance in the body, there’s an incredibly low risk for allergic reaction, even for those with sensitive skin.
During the process of lip augmentation, a small tool is used to create high-pressure immersion of hyaluronic acid serum into the skin. The process converts the hyaluronic acid into nano scale molecules, inserted into the skin via the pressure technology of the needleless filler device. Hyaluronic Acid Infusion can also be used on a variety of treatment areas, including nasolabial folds (or “smile lines” between the nose and mouth), marionette lines (extending from the corners of the lips down to the chin, as well as acne scarring and the appearance of fine lines.
